Tower Road Beach is available for swimming. No boats, paddleboards, kayaks, Jet Skis, or vessels of any kind are allowed. As part of the Winnetka Waterfront 2030 plan, significant improvements were completed from 2020-2021. New elevated stairs and platforms were installed to give users a comfortable and unique route through the treetops with views of the lake. Invasive plants were removed and replaced with native vegetation to stabilize the slopes and beach and create new wildlife habitats.

Maple Street Beach is available for swimming. No boats, paddleboards, kayaks, Jet Skis, or vessels of any kind are allowed at Maple.

Lloyd Beach is available for non-motorized and motorized boating. Swimming is not permitted. As part of the Winnetka Waterfront 2030 plan, major enhancements were completed at Lloyd from 2020-2021, including a new breakwater system, bluff landscape restoration, boat storage improvements, and more.

Elder Lane Beach is available for swimming and non-motorized boating (kayaking, sailing, paddle boarding, etc.). Motorized boats and personal watercrafts (Jet Ski, WaveRunner, Sea-Doo, etc.) are not permitted.

Bundle-up and head outside to join The Alliance for Early Childhood, the Winnetka Park District, and the BackYard Nature Center to engage in imaginative, and child-directed, outdoor free-play in the woods.
