Parks
The Winnetka Park District operates and maintains a total of 27 parks which encompass over 242 acres. A balance of active and passive parks provides our residents and visitors with a unique experience at every park. Take time to enjoy the open space available through the Winnetka Park District. COVID-19
Playgrounds Open
All parks, fields, playground, and other open spaces are currently open. Please follow CDC and IDPH health and safety guidelines when using parks, playgrounds, and other open spaces, including:
- Stay home if you are sick
- Wash your hands before and after visiting the playground
- Maintain a physical distance of at least six feet; wear a face covering if six feet of distance can’t be maintained
Water fountains are off, so please plan accordingly when visiting parks. Playgrounds are not sanitized or cleaned.
Park Hours
Parks are open to the public from 6am to 10pm every day.

Parks Where Dogs are Allowed
Dogs are allowed on a leash at all parks, excluding those with playgrounds or parks at our beaches. Please be responsible and pick up after your dog. Thank you!
