About the Park

Nick Corwin Park playground is open and ready for play after the playground equipment was deconstructed and under construction.  Learn more about the project here.

A grand re-opening celebration will be on Thursday, October 12 from 2 – 4pm at the playground. Please join us for this free community event!

History
The Winnetka Park District purchased Nick Corwin Park from Winnetka Public School District 36 in 1953. The park was named for Nick Corwin, a young neighborhood boy who passed away in 1988.
