Ice Skating Events

Get skating while having fun at our Ice Skating events this season!

Winnetka Skating Club Open House: Friday, September 25 | 5:15 – 6:30pm:  Bring your skates and come join us to see what the Winnetka skating Club is all about! This event is open to all registered skaters.  

Registration is not required. Please call the Ice Arena with any questions: 847-501-2060. 

Halloween Party on Ice: Saturday, October 31 | 2 – 3:20pm:  Dress up in your favorite costume and take a few laps skating to chilling Halloween music. No costume masks which cover the entire face. Admission is $2 per skater; skates may be rented for $4. Come in costume for free admission!

Turkey Day Skate: Thursday, November 26 | 10:30am – 1pm:  Burn off a few calories before Thanksgiving dinner and enjoy a special skate day at the Winnetka Ice Arena. Admission is $2 per skater; skates may be rented for $4.

Holiday Skating Exhibition: Saturday, December 12 | 2 – 3:20pm:  Tot through Free Skate program participants will demonstrate their skills in our annual skating exhibition.

Ugly Sweater Holiday Skate: Saturday, December 12 | 2 – 3:20pm:  Wear your ugliest holiday sweater and take a few laps skating to festive holiday music. Be sure to stick around for the Holiday Skating Exhibition following the skate. Admission is $2 per skater; skates may be rented for $4. Come in an ugly sweater for free admission!

Spring Skating Exhibition: Saturday, March 13 | 12:50 – 1:50pm:  Snowplow Sam through Freeskate program participants will demonstrate their skills in our Sweetheart Exhibition.
