Winnetka Golf Club will be periodically closing the course or individual holes to accommodate agronomic maintenance over the next six weeks.
The dates of these closures are:
- October 7 – Hole #8 Closed
- October 14 – Hole #9 Closed
- October 15 – 18-Hole Course Closed for Greens Aerification
- October 21 – Hole #10 Closed
- October 28 – Hole #15 Closed
- November 4 – Hole #18 Closed
- November 5 – 18-Hole Course Closed for Fairway Aerification
For the individual hole closures, this is in order to core aerify the fairways to amend the soil profile away from clay and backfill with organic matter. The rest of the course will remain open. During this time, WGC will offer a 20% discount off tee times for those days. WGC will also discount rates for the remainder of the season after the general fairway aerification on October 15.
