This notice is to inform the community of an upcoming Village of Winnetka Plan Commission meeting involving a Winnetka Park District application related to Centennial Dog Beach.
Village of Winnetka Plan Commission – Regular Meeting
Date: Wednesday, January 28, 2026
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Location: Winnetka Village Hall, Council Chambers
The Winnetka Park District has submitted a Special Use Permit application to the Village of Winnetka for chain-link fencing at Centennial Dog Beach.
The application proposes installation of 4′ chain-link fencing along the northern and southern boundaries of the designated dog beach area, including removable sections and access gates which will remain unlocked.
The Plan Commission will review the application at this meeting. Public comment is part of the meeting process. Additional Village review will occur through other reviewing bodies. Dates and times have been tentatively identified and may be adjusted based on the outcome of this meeting.
