- Acquired: 1904. Purchased from the DeWindt family
- It was the first property acquired by the newly formed Winnetka Park District. There is a comfortable sitting area surrounding a circular planter in the center of the park.
- The sculpture in the planter (and the piece across the street entitled “The Ascent of Mount Katahdin”) is by nationally known sculptor and former Winnetka resident Abbott Pattison.
