Through its 27 parks, playfields, beaches, and facilities, the Winnetka Park District is proud to promote health + wellness for the Winnetka community and visitors. With a wide range of recreational opportunities, we always strive to offer a safe environment and experience for all. We partner with the Winnetka Police Department and other Village of Winnetka agencies to make safety a top priority.
Specific to the incident that occurred Friday, September 23, 2022 at Dwyer Park, the Winnetka Police Department is presently investigating this matter in its entirety.
We ask patrons to continue to engage in recreation and leisure activities at Park District properties in a safe, constructive manner that thoughtfully considers the well-being of everyone.
