Outdoor Ice Rinks

Weather permitting, the Park District floods Indian Hill Park to create outdoor skating and hockey opportunities. In order to establish skate-able ice, the weather must maintain temperatures overnight 15F or below and daytime highs no greater than 20F for TWO consecutive weeks.

Flooding the greenspace takes a minimum of four days and nights once the temperature criteria is met.

Indian Hill and Northfield Park Outdoor Ice Rinks are closed. Check back for winter 2027 information.
