Ice Angels Synchro Team
Synchronized skating is a great way for skaters to make new friends, strengthen their abilities to work on a team, and gain more advanced skating skills. The Ice Angels Synchro teams compete in 3 to 4 local competitions throughout the season. For additional information call the Winnetka Ice Arena at (847) 501-2060.
Team Levels
Varsity Level
Skaters who are in FS 2 to FS 3 and have had 1 or more years of synchro skating. Skaters in FS 4 or higher, no Synchro experience needed.
Junior Varsity Level
Skaters who are in Basic 5 or higher, no Synchro experience needed.
Winnetka Figure Skating Club (WFSC)
The mission of the Winnetka Figure Skating Club (WFSC) is to provide a recreational skating club that promotes the sport of figure skating and fosters social interaction between all ages and levels of skaters. Through the enjoyment and skills of skating, we facilitate a safe and fun environment at the ice arena, where new friendships and a sense of support for one another are encouraged!
Winnetka Figure Skating Club Memberships include:
- Opportunity to have fun and make new friends
- A 10% discount on skating classes
- A 20% discount on freestyle coupon books
- A WFSC team fleece for new members
- Free Friday night skates exclusively for WFSC members, which include one hour of supervised skating followed by dinner and activities like dance, tennis, and crafts
- Free participation in exhibitions
- Performing a special group number in the Annual Ice Show
- Representing the Winnetka Ice Arena in the annual Fourth of July parade
- Email updates on upcoming events
