Lloyd Beach and The Stepan Family Boat Launch is closed for the 2025 season.

About the Park

Lloyd Beach is available for non-motorized and motorized boating. Swimming is not permitted. As part of the Winnetka Waterfront 2030 plan, major enhancements were completed at Lloyd from 2020-2021, including a new breakwater system, bluff landscape restoration, boat storage improvements, and more.

2025 Beach Season: May 16 – September 13
Weekends only staffed until 10/3

Swimming is prohibited at Lloyd Beach.

Pass holders have unlimited access to the beach seven days a week.

Boat Storage

Limited boat storage is available for non-motorized boats.

Boat Storage Rates

Rentals

Paddleboards; $50 per two hours. Paddles; $10 all day. Life vests; $10 all day.

Private Instruction

Standup paddleboard instruction is available in the mornings only. All equipment provided; $100 per hour. To schedule, contact Matt Barton at mbarton@winpark.org or (847) 501-2045.
