Lloyd Beach & The Stepan Family Boat Launch is closed for the 2024 season. There’s no swimming allowed.

About the Park

Lloyd Beach is available for non-motorized and motorized boating. Swimming is not permitted. As part of the Winnetka Waterfront 2030 plan, major enhancements were completed at Lloyd from 2020-2021, including a new breakwater system, bluff landscape restoration, boat storage improvements, and more.

2025 Beach Season: May 17 – September 14

Swimming is prohibited at Lloyd Beach.

Fees

Season Pass

Entry to the beaches is restricted to season pass holders Saturday + Sunday + holidays (i.e., daily admissions are not accepted those days). Pass holders have unlimited access to the beaches seven days a week.

Patrons may pay a daily admission Monday through Friday only, excluding holidays.

Boat Storage

Limited boat storage is available for non-motorized boats.

Boat Storage Rates

Rentals

Paddleboards; $50 per two hours. Paddles; $10 all day. Life vests; $10 all day. Chairs/umbrellas; $10 each, all day.

Ice

Bags of ice are available to purchase for $5.

Private Instruction

Standup paddleboard instruction available in the mornings only. All equipment provided; $100 per hour. To schedule, contact Matt Barton at mbarton@winpark.org or (847) 501-2045.
