Winnetka's Fourth of July: Schedule of Events
Freedom Run | Saturday, July 1 | 8am
Bring your family, friends, and neighbors out to join in on the fun! This 5k race along the Green Bay Trail is a great way to kick off the Fourth of July festivities. Chicago Race Management will track time and post live results throughout the race.
Race check-in is from 7 – 7:45am. This event is held rain or shine. No refunds will be offered to participants on the day of the event due to weather.
Parade | Tuesday, July 4 | 10am
Support local organizations and your neighbors as they march in the parade alongside orchestras, pipe bands, jugglers, Uncle Sam on stilts, and more!
Family, friends, and everyone in between are invited to take part in this patriotic event. Entries may be as simple or sophisticated as you wish. Decorate a bike, wagon, lawn tractor, build a float, dress in costume, or march to your own drum.
To participate, fill out the parade application using the button below or contact Toby Ross at tross@winpark.org.
