Come on out and show your patriotic spirit! Watch and support local organizations and your fellow neighbors as they march in Winnetka’s annual Fourth of July Parade along with orchestras, pipe bands, the Dixieland Bands, jugglers, Uncle Sam on stilts, and so much more! The parade steps off from the intersection of Elm Street and Glendale Avenue and heads east through town all the way to the Village Green. Family, friends and anyone in between are welcome to be a part of this patriotic event.

Premier Business Parade Sponsor: First Bank & Trust

Want to participate in the parade?

Our annual Fourth of July Parade is always a wonderful event that brings the community together as friends, neighbors, and citizens. We like to involve as many people as possible in our parade, because it’s always fun to see our community getting into the spirit and doing something out of the ordinary. And let’s face it, the more entries there are, the more festive the parade! So please participate! You don’t need talent (although it’s a plus if you have some), just enthusiasm. Entries may be as simple or sophisticated as you wish. You could decorate a bike, wagon or lawn tractor, build a stunning float, dress in costume, play an instrument, or march with the Girl Scouts. To participate in the parade and show your patriotic spirit, please complete and return an entry form by Wednesday, June 20. Entry forms are available at the Winnetka Park District administrative office or online here.

Completed forms can be dropped off to the administrative office in-person, or by mail, fax or email. If you have questions, give us a call at (847) 501-2040.
