Want to participate in the parade?

Our annual Fourth of July Parade is always a wonderful event that brings the community together as friends, neighbors, and citizens. We like to involve as many people as possible in our parade, because it’s always fun to see our community getting into the spirit and doing something out of the ordinary. And let’s face it, the more entries there are, the more festive the parade! So please participate! You don’t need talent (although it’s a plus if you have some), just enthusiasm. Entries may be as simple or sophisticated as you wish. You could decorate a bike, wagon or lawn tractor, build a stunning float, dress in costume, play an instrument, or march with the Girl Scouts. To participate in the parade and show your patriotic spirit, please complete and return an entry form by Wednesday, June 20. Entry forms are available at the Winnetka Park District administrative office or online here.

Completed forms can be dropped off to the administrative office in-person, or by mail, fax or email. If you have questions, give us a call at (847) 501-2040.
