Court Drying Procedures
Outdoor courts are dried by the tennis maintenance staff daily from 6- 11 am. During inclement weather, courts will be dried only when there is
no immediate threat of further rain.

A “roll-dri” is available for your use.

 

 

 

 

 

A.C. Nielsen Tennis Center

The A.C. Nielsen Tennis Center, a facility of the Winnetka Park District, is complete with eight indoor and 12 outdoor courts (five lighted), a nursery, complete pro shop and shower/locker room facilities. Group and private lessons are available for all ages and abilities.

Nursery
A supervised nursery is provided for children of players. The nursery is equipped with toys, art materials and a television. The following rules apply:

  • Sick children will not be accepted.

  • Parent will be called from the court for any
    circumstances felt warranted by staff, be
    it illness, discipline, etc.

  • A maximum of 6 children will be admitted
    on a first-come, first-served basis.

Ages: 6 months - 6 years
Days: Monday-Friday
Hours: 8:30 am-4 pm
Fee: $10 per child (2 hour max)

Pro Shop
The pro shop offers a complete line of tennis-related items. Rackets for both children and adults are for sale, and all racket repairs are done on the premises. Balls and a variety of miscellaneous items from grip tape to head bands are also available. We will be happy to accommodate special orders for rackets!

Party Tennis-Style
Planning a party? Why not have a fun night of tennis at the A.C. Nielsen Tennis Center? Party courts are available.

The tennis shack is available for your use, along with either outdoor/indoor courts.

People wishing to reserve four or more courts may do so 14 days in advance.

Kids parties are also available! Cost for parties is court time plus $50 per hour, per pro.
