Registration
Registration for these camps
begins upon receipt of the
brochure for residents
and March 8 for nonresidents.
Registrations will be accepted:
- Via Fax (847) 501-5779;
- Online: www.winpark.org;
- In-person at the administrative office (540 Hibbard Road); or mail to 540 Hibbard Rd., Winnetka, IL 60093.
Payments
You may either pay in full by cash, check or credit card when you
register for camp,
or Winnetka residents can take advantage of the partial payment
plan of two equal payments. Here’s how: When paying by check,
write one check for 50% of camp fees, then write a second check for
the balance, but post-date it to May 31 - the day it will be deposited. If
paying by credit card, half of your fees will be charged to the card upon
registration, but the balance will not be charged to your account until
May 31. Please indicate on the registration form if you are
using the partial payment plan.
A 10% discount will be given to resident families with two or
more children enrolled in the full six week program of Kiddie Camp,
Happiness Is or Almost Anything Goes if registered before May 5.
Late Registration
The registration deadline for these camps is June 6, unless camps are
filled prior to that date. Any registration received after the June 6
registration deadline will be assessed a $25 late fee.
Refunds
If a refund request is made prior to June 5 at 5:00 pm, a full refund, less
a $10 service charge per person, per session, will be granted.
After June 5 and through the third day of camp, a full refund, less a $50
service charge per person per session, will be granted.
No refunds will be granted after the third day of camp. We do our best
to issue refunds as quickly as possible, but delays are sometimes
necessary to ensure accuracy. Check refunds take approximately 2-3
weeks.
Parent Manuals
Parent manuals for these camps are mailed in early June. These booklets
contain information about lunches, snacks, camp clothes, water
activities, beach and field trip schedules, and hours.
Included in your manual is an emergency form. It is very
important that these forms be filled out completely.
Parent Night
(Kiddie Camp, Happiness Is, Almost Anything Goes)
Join us for a parent information meeting in the Park District
Community Room, 540 Hibbard Rd., on June 16 at 6:00 pm. Although
not mandatory, this is an excellent opportunity to learn more about
camp and meet the staff and other parents.
Camp Staff
Each camp is supervised daily
by a qualified adult.
Counselors at each camp are
a mixture of mature and
enthusiastic college and high
school students.
All staff members complete
an extensive training program
which includes supervision,
safety techniques, curriculum
development and CPR.
Friendship Requests
Friendship requests may only be submitted for Kiddie Camp, Happiness
Is and Almost Anything Goes. Only one friend may be placed with your
child.
Friendship requests are only accepted if the form on page 9 is
completely filled out. You may only request one friend and that friend
must also request you. Before submitting a friendship request, you must
have the approval from the parent of the child you are requesting to be
with. Friendship requests will not be accepted after June 11. Friendship Request Form

The community room is available for
small gathering and meetings for
approximately 40 people. The rental fee
is $25 per hour for residents and $50 per
hour for non-residents. For more
