Birthday Party Service
Need to plan a party? Let the staff of the Winnetka Park District do all the work! Choose from a variety of themed parties listed below. All parties include:
- 90 minutes of supervised games, activities and a craft.
- Party room, tables/chairs, and set-up/clean up.
- Drinks, and a decorated cake from a local bakery.
- Lots of fun!
Reservations should be made at least three weeks in advance to ensure that the date you want is available. To book a party, please call (847) 501-2040. Party fees are $268 for residents and $319 for non residents, unless otherwise indicated.
NEW! PartyCakes Party**
PartyCakes, PartyCakes was a 2010 Nickelodeon Award Nominee for Best Chicago Party Entertainer. Celebrate your birthday by creating an extraordinary 3-D shaped cake! Each child (ages 4 and older) brings home their creation in a bakery box so there is no need to purchase Treat Bags. Eight different cake themes to choose from along with the option of a Cookie Decorating Party. Let the party begin! This party is held in the Community Room, 540 Hibbard Rd.
Fee: $300 (up to 15 children, $20 per extra child, maximum 25)
** Please note the Party Cakes Party does not include a bakery cake, paper goods, or juice. Parents are invited to provide this on their own if so desired.
Arts and Crafts Party
Children will create an art project based on the theme you choose for the party. The completed project makes a great party favor. When the kids are finished with the craft they will move to the gym for some fun and games.
Beach Party
Colorful, paper flower leis will be made at this party and they will make a great party favor. Leave your flip flops at home and wear your gym shoes for fun and beach themed games in the gym.
Dinosaur Party
Each child will make their own dinosaur craft and will play a variety of theme related games and activities in the gym. The party will end with a dinosaur egg hunt.
Flower Pot Party
Each child will personalize their very own flower pot, complete with a handmade tissue-paper flower arrangement. A variety of age appropriate art materials will be provided for decorating. Guests will go home with a great party favor. After the craft, the kids will enjoy games and activities in the gym.
Knights & Princesses Party
Whether you are a knight in shining armor or a beautiful young princess, this party is sure to be a hit. Children will make and decorate knight shields and princess crowns to take home. After the craft, the kids will enjoy games and activities in the gym and end the party with a gold coin hunt.
Magic Party
Make your party unique, entertaining, and memorable with the incredible magic of Gary Kantor. You will see vanishing acts, card tricks, mind reading, and much more! All shows are interactive-your child will come up on stage and become a Junior Magician right before your eyes. There will be lots of audience participation and laughter. The show will last 30-45 minutes.

Pirate Party
Ahoy mate! Climb aboard this party pirate ship and create a pirate flag and play pirate-related games and activities in the gym. Of course every pirate likes to find treasure so the party will end with a treasure hunt.
Sports & Games Party
What is your favorite sport? We can play them all – basketball, floor hockey, soccer, you name it. Just let us know which ones you like and we will have a “ball”!

Superhero Party
Do you love Spiderman, Batman or any superhero? If so, celebrate your birthday like a superhero. Pick your favorite superhero and we’ll do the rest! Activities include creating your own mask, sticker and tattoo fun and partaking in a scavenger hunt.
Birthday Parties On Ice
Looking for a fun alternative for your child’s party? We offer birthday parties every Saturday and Sunday during Public Skating at the Winnetka Ice Arena. Package includes up to 20 admissions, skate rental, decorations, beverages, pizzas, plates and utensils. To book a party call (847) 501-2060.

Party Tennis-Style
Planning a party? Why not have a fun night of tennis at the A.C. Nielsen Tennis Center? Party courts are available. The tennis shack is available for your use, along with either outdoor/indoor courts. People wishing to reserve four or more courts may do so 14 days in advance. Kids parties are also available! Cost for parties is court time plus $50 per hour, per pro. For more information, call (847) 501-2065.
Grade School Paddle Parties
Why not try something completely different for your next party? Rent the Paddle Hut and courts and let the youngsters learn and enjoy the great sport of paddle. The fee is $225. Available times are Saturdays from 2 - 5 pm. Contact Tom Gullen at (847) 501-2069 to reserve your date.
