Boys Fall Lacrosse
The Winnetka Park District, in conjunction with Lacrosse America, will be offering youth boys’ lacrosse for grades 3 through 8. Lacrosse is the fastest growing sport in Chicagoland and around the country! This fast paced exciting sport combines the best of football, hockey, soccer and basketball. This fall’s lacrosse programs are open to beginners as well as experienced players. This is the ideal program to learn and practice the action-packed sport of lacrosse. All boys are required to have their own lacrosse stick. Protective equipment can be rented – visit lacrosseamerica.com for details on new and used equipment.

This program will be divided into three divisions. Boys in grades 3rd-4th, 5th-6th, and 7th-8th will play on Saturdays (times listed below). Boys will do drills and learn team concepts to use in games to be played against inhouse teams. Emphasis in games will be on skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship and equal playing time. More experienced players should consider playing in the Lacrosse America fall league, details at www.lacrosseamerica.com.
