Platform Tennis - Programs

Instructional Platform Tennis
Whether you are a novice player, junior, or an accomplished player, our comprehensive instructional program offers something for everyone. Platform tennis is an easy to learn sport that will last a life time. Our staff of certified instructors will teach you the fundamentals or refine your game to a new level. Each session will include instruction in addition to play time so the students will have an opportunity to learn strategy. Most of all, it’s FUN!

Registration Information
Registration will begin on Monday, December 15 for Winnetka Park District residents and returning participants and Thursday, December 18 for non-residents. Registration is handled through Winnetka Ice Arena. See page 38 for complete registration information.

In an effort to provide the best instruction and experience for all, please register for the class that most appropriately fits your skills. The instructional staff reserves the right to move students to the correct level.

Refund Policy
All refunds are subject to a $25 service fee. There are no refunds within three weeks of the start of the program unless for medical reasons.

Women’s Daytime Paddle Lessons (back to top)
Have you always wanted to learn platform tennis but never had the chance? Are you wondering what exactly this sport of paddle is all about? Or, are you looking to refine your skills and take your game to a new level? We offer a full variety of daytime classes for all skill levels designed to help you improve and enjoy the game. No class Friday, January 30.

Beginner 1 - Brand new to racquet/paddle
Beginner 2 - Little or no racquet/paddle experience
Intermediate - Some command of basic skills or racquet experience
Adv./Int. - Passed through Intermediate level
Advanced - Strong command of shots and strategy and court position.

Looking to spend some quality time with your spouse? Our mixed couples classes are a great way to learn the finer points of the game while meeting other families for a session filled with instruction and open play time.

Saturday, February 7 • 7-9 pm
5th - 6th Grade Only Event!

Matt Garavaglia will lead the middle schoolers in play and then we’ll get together for pizza and pop
afterwards.
