NEW for 2011/12 - "The Pond on the Green"
"The Pond on the Green" is the new outdoor, natural ice rink being installed just south of the Winnetka Ice Arena (490 Hibbard Rd.). The ice surface will be 75 ft. x 105 ft. and will feature an ice liner that will allow for quicker access to outdoor skating. The goal will be to allow both hockey and general skating activities. The easy access to the Winnetka Ice Arena will give skaters a place to change and warm up. It will also permit flooding from the Winnetka Ice Arena to keep ice conditions good.
