Seasonal Summer Positions ( Job Descriptions )

If interested in any of these positions, please hand in an application to the Winnekta Park District Front Desk at 540 Hibbard Rd. Applications can be found on the website or picked up at the Front Desk.

Lifeguard
$8.50/hr
Lifeguards must be able to complete the Winnetka Park District Lifeguard Training. Training will take place at the end of May through the beginning of June. Please see the job description

Beach Attendant
$8.00/hr
Beach Attendants begin work in June. Please see the job description.

Head Lifeguard
$11-13/hr
Must have previous lifeguarding experience. Red Cross LGI certification will be preferred. Please see the job description.

Lakefront Manager 
$15-17/hr
Responsible for overseeing the overall lakefront operations. Red Cross LGI certification necessary for position. Please see the job description.

Ranger
$11-13/hr

Patrols Parks and Park District facilities and helps patrons who have rented Parks or Shelters within the District. Please see the job description.
