Ice Arena Registration Information

No regular summer programs are offered through the Winnetka Ice Arena.

Spring 2013 Session
March 11 - May 17

On-Line, Mail-In and In-Person Resident Registration Begins Monday,February 18 at 9:00 am.

On-Line, Mail-In and In-Person Non-Resident Registration Begins Wednesday, February 20 at 9:00 am.

  • Register for 2 or more classes per student, per session and receive a 10% discount. (mail-in or in-person registration only) 
  • Winnetka Figure Skating Club members receive a 10% discount. (mail-in or in-person registration only)
  • Families registering 3 or more children receive 5% off the total per session.(mail-in or in-person registration only)
  • NR registration received prior to the above dates will be processed at the end of the first applicable registration day.
  • Students registered in classes are given pre-registration privileges for subsequent sessions.
  • No new registrations will be accepted after the 3rd class of a new session. It is not our policy to pro rate for missed classes, however we do allow two make-up classes per session.
  • Classes may be combined or cancelled at the discretion of Winnetka Ice Arena management depending on class enrollment.
  • Class fees do not include skates. Class skate rental is $2.50 or you may purchase a 10 rental punch card for $20.
  • Safety Notes: All children wearing hockey skates must wear a hockey helmet. All  beginner level skaters should wear a knit hat or helmet and gloves or mittens.

Registration Processing

Registration received in-person or by mail prior to the above dates will be processed at the end of the first day of registration.

Students registered in classes are given pre-registration privileges for subsequent sessions.

Last day to register ONLINE is 7 days prior to program start date. During this time, you may call 847-501-2060 to verify program availability.

Late Registration

No new registrations will be accepted after the 3rd class of a new session. It is not our policy to pro rate for missed classes, however we do allow two make-up classes per session.

Refunds

A $10 service fee will be charged for all refunds made prior to the start of the program. There are no refunds after the second class.

Classes may be combined or cancelled at the discretion of Winnetka Ice Arena management depending on class enrollment.

Class Make-Up Policy

Skaters may make-up only two missed classes per session on any other day their level is offered. Skaters must obtain a make-up form at the front desk prior to participating in a class on a different day. Make-ups are not allowed during the first week of a new session or during testing week.

Winnetka Park District gift cards are available at the Winnetka Ice Arena!

This card may be used at all Winnetka Park District facilities with the following exceptions: lakefront facilities and concession stands.

This card never expires and is reloadable.
