Pardon Our Dust . . .
Beginning Monday, October 3 the anticipated renovation of outdoor courts 8-12 will begin.  This will include:

  • Removal and replacement of current asphalt material
  • Removal and replacement of court fencing
  • Ungraded storm drains

The goal of this maintenance project is to stabilize the subsoil base and build a new set of courts that will last for the years to come.

Through the generosity of the Theodore Eckert Foundation no tax dollar or tennis reserves are being utilized to complete this project.

Construction schedule and updates will be provided on this website as they become available.

The A.C. Nielsen Tennis Center has two outdoor projects slated for 2016. First is the color-coating of courts 1- 7, which was completed in June in time for the Nielsen Men’s Pro Tennis Championship. Cost of this project was approximately $60,000 and was paid for by Tennis Center capital reserves.
